Marco Julià Eggert
Marco is Managing Director of FCC Hotels & Restaurants; one of the most iconic hospitality brands in Cambodia. The next steps for FCC are to renovate its current facilities and to expand the brand in South East Asia, primarily through management contracts.
Although born and raised in Barcelona, Marco has been living in different parts of the world for more than a decade, and has exclusively been working for either hotels, restaurants, or hospitality related consulting companies. This has allowed him to understand the industry from its many angles.
Marco has a Master in Hospitality Management – MMH (Cornell University USA) and a Degree in Economics (Univ. de Barcelona Spain). He is also the principal author of the bestseller book “Gestión de Calidad aplicada a Hostelería y Restauración” (Quality Management applied to F&B and Hotels), of Pearson Educación / Prentice Hall – 2002, and has been a Member of the “Subcommité de Restauración CTN 167 / SC1” from AENOR (whose objective was the development of quality standards for the restaurant industry in Spain).
Furthermore, Marco enjoys being a visiting instructor for Hospitality Management courses at different hotel schools.
