Co-founder & Creative Director - Ock Pop Tok
Jo co-founded social enterprise Ock Pop Tok in 2000 with Veomanee Douangdala. Jo is responsible for Sales & Marketing, Business Development and Rural Development Projects. Jo has experience in Value Chain Analysis, developing and conducting rural training programmes – many of these programmes have been specifically aimed at using tourism as a means to maximise economic impact in rural areas. Her work crosses between women’s empowerment, cultural preservation, economic development and creative marketing. When not in the office, which is often Jo can be found adding colour to all things Ock Pop Tok whether thats jeeps that ferry people to and from their award winning Living Crafts Centre or handicrafts that are on sale in the shops. Jo’s passion is people and sport, she’s looking forward to meeting you at the conference and urges you to bring your running shoes and/or tennis racquets.
